Welcome to Bodø International School
We offer Primary Years education and opened with Grades 1–6 in August 2025. In August 2026, we will expand to include Grades 7 and 8 (MYP 2–3). We plan to extend the school to Grades 9 and 10 if application numbers and overall interest are sufficient, and we will begin evaluating this possibility as early as next school year to ensure we meet emerging needs.
Our goal is to build a vibrant learning community where students receive a comprehensive, globally oriented education in a supportive and inspiring environment.
Bodø International School is a Candidate School* for the PYP. The school is currently pursuing authorization as an IB World School. IB World Schools share a common philosophy: a commitment to high-quality, challenging, international education – something we believe is essential for our students.
